2oz margerine
2oz lard
5 1/2 oz sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 oz custard powder
plain flour
- beat the margerine, lard and sugar together
- add the egg and custard powder and beat
- stir in , then kneed in, enough flour to make a stiff dough
- shape into small balls, and place on a baking sheet
- press down on the balls with the back of a fork
- bake at 180c (gas 4) for around 25 minutes or until golden brown
These are really tasty and crispy
